The 55 square meter concession is enclosed in bespoke glass Links of London Sale displaying each shoe as a standalone piece. With its Syrian glass and signature red carpet, the brand new space is reflective of the designer's Middle-Eastern inspired boutique design across the region. "We have always had such great support from our clients who shop at Saks and in return, I wanted to fulfill the need for a larger space, and more selection. The new concession is a reflection of my taste, from the red carpeting to the beautiful glass decoration sourced from the region," says Louboutin, "My goal is to bring the client into my world. They also seem to be Links of London Small Sweetie Bracelet With Freshwater Pearl about it. "I think people are embracing, and feeling wonderful about, shopping local," Tangelder said. "It's nice to walk into a store and have someone greet you and, perhaps, know you by name." This year seems better than the last two of the recession, according to Tangelder and other shop owners working in old-fashioned shopping districts, now decked out in wreaths, lights and "open" flags. They ranged from the 25-year-old "Williamsville Business Association" that covers 140 restaurants, salons, clothiers and lawyers for about a mile of Main Street and beyond to the newly galvanized and organized. The "Meet at the Center Merchants Association" in Clarence and Hamburg's "Village Links of London Small Sweetie Golden Bracelet Advisory Council" are both 3 years old and began in 2008, the year the economy tanked.
