All basic needs are met through enrollment in the program, as described by the following: The VA provides full medical, mental health counseling, and substance abuse and dental treatment. If veterans have no income, they do not have to pay rent; if they have income, rent is one-third of their income and is paid to Missoula Housing Authority as the landlord. Full case management is provided in this program, with each veteran developing a client services need plan and listed goals.
