My program ends with "Zog Nit tiffany pendant" - "Never Say" - which is a song of hope. It was written by Hirsch Glick in the Vilna ghetto to the melody of the Russian composer Dimitri Pokras. Although friends hid his songs, very few survived. Glick wrote late at night, by the light of a kerosene lamp or a candle, tiffany ring a long day of grueling work - in the ghetto, in die work camp, and even in the worst of concentration camps in Estonia. When there was no pencil or paper, he recited his poems to tiffany watch fellow prisoners who memorized them. Many of those poems were written to well-known Jewish tunes from Russia and Poland. Such is this case for "Zog Nit Keinmol:" "Never say it is the final road for you." "Our awaited hour has come: we are here..." "This song a people Cheap Elsa Peretti amid collapsing walls..." "This song was written with our blood and not with lead..." "This song as password generation must remain3."
