Kathryn graduated from Yuma Catholic A Charm School in 2009. At AWC, she's studying to become an elementary teacher. "I want to teach second grade because when I was in second grade I was diagnosed with a learning disability. I can help catch a child with a learning disability because I know what to look for." The B Charm she wants to convey to kids with disabilities is that "even though you have a disability, don't let the disability be you, don't let it define you." Through her platform, S.K.I.P., C Charm wants to share another message. "Growing up, sports were so important in my life and with the health issues that we have today, I want kids to get out and be active. I want to tell them to grab a couple of friends, a ball and go outside. It doesn't take much." She also wants to visit local D Charm and address both students and parents. "I want them to realize that there is more out there than sports.
