She wanted to keep the atmosphere I Charm, so aside from help from family members, Painter runs Fredericksburg Trade Days herself. She knows each of the vendors who set up at the event. Some of them house wares at the farm permanently, building their own structures on their sites. The event isn't fancy. It's rustic, but it's not run-of-the-mill. "I always say I try not to say the F word: flea market," Painter said. "I wanted a variety of different J Charm -- old stuff, new stuff, made stuff. I just think people like it." However, there's more than just treasure hunting at Fredericksburg Trade Days. There's also entertainment. The biergarten K Charm more than 70 varieties of brews and is alive with music from a live band and more than a few visitors kicking back with a drink. There's free WiFi there, too. "It's a fun place," Painter said. "You've got music. I think it's a different type of show."
