The designer, who lives in New York and talks with her family via cellphone during every episode, is considering keeping the vehicle in the Ojai Links of London I Charm for use when she visits home, her father said Wednesday. "She didn't mean to offend anybody; she loves Ojai and Ventura County," Galen David said. "But she knew that, as a young person in fashion, she wasn't going to make it if she didn't leave for the big city." And she is decidedly making it. The win put David, Tran and the remaining House of Emerald designer Jeffrey Williams, 26, of Brooklyn, in the running for the grand prize: $125,000 and a spread in the Links of London H Charm magazine Harper's Bazaar.

Cross and Clay are both excited for the event, stating that the reception in the past has been fantastic, even if some elements of the event are uncontrollable. "It could be pretty interesting with the way the weather's been this year," Cross said. But, Clay said, they will run it no matter what.Referring to the way in which David's and Tran's blank-faced models walked barefoot on a runway coated with fake snow, guest judge Glenda Bailey, editor in chief of Harper's Bazaar, asked if they "looked so miserable because Links of London J Charm stole their shoes?"
